I am having problems with my Internet Service Provider lately. Everytime it rains I got disconnected and unable to use Internet in the duration of the rain… so, if it has heavy rains wholeday that means I am offline the wholeday. Sometimes I get connected during the rain but from time to time you get disconnected again and again. This is my problem for the past months but since the summer is in the air I am here with a good connection.
Talking about Internet and ISP, I have found BT home hub Total Broadband. UK’s most complete broadband and they means complete is that all is included in every package like:
* Up to 8MB download speeds
* Wireless Broadband out & about
* Secure Online Storage
* UK Evening & Weekend calls included and
* 24/7 Support
If you want to know about the actual speed of their internenet, they have a speedtest to make sure it is fast enough. Their Broadband Speed Test will check your potential broadband speed using either your phone number or post code. They also have a free hub with no extra charge in any options you get. Might you ask what is a hub, according to webopedia, a Hub is a common connection point for devices in a network. Hubs are commonly used to connect segments of a LAN. A hub contains multiple ports. When a packet arrives at one port, it is copied to the other ports so that all segments of the LAN can see all packets. Some might think hubs are the same as Switches and Routers, but they are all different from one another eventhough at times they are all integrated into a single device. Though they only offer wired router for the option 1, but they have wireless BT Home hub for Option 2 and 3.
