Every Friday and Saturday nights, Night café is known to be a crowd drawer place in Cagayan de Oro City, it starts at around 6 PM until 2AM. It’s a nightlife place at the heart of the city where all sorts of people gather together to dine and unwind and even sight seeing, from kids to the youth to the forever young oldies, but the crowd is compost most of around 70 percent young people.

 

At Night Café, you can find mouth watering affordable foods which consist most of native dishes in an Ala carte style, cool music of all sorts, colorful globe lights, and cool, fun-loving, party animal people. People like it here because; they can meet some long lost friends, acquaintances, high school classmates and some colleagues and strangers. Just smile and warm hellos and nodding from people you’ve met just showing how friendly the people here at the City of Golden friendship.

 

People from neighboring cities and provinces just come and go to this famous place in Cagayan de oro not just to dine, party and unwind but to buy some stuffs at the other side which they call “Night Market”. Here, you can see stuffs from shoes to caps, shirts and blouses to pants, jeans and shorts to Bed sheets, body accessories, and all sorts of things you can find and before I forgot the famous/controversial VCD and DVD stools.

Since August 2003, where it started to open no criminal offense was reported until this day, so everyone here are assured of their safety when they come because there are policeman and security officers insuring the safety of the place… though some conflicts between drunken individuals but they’re minors and rare to happen.

End of the history and introduction of Night Café.

Last Night I went there (Night Café) with my colleagues we ate and drink and roamed around the place and window shopped. Mind you, Mayor Emano (the Brain of Night cafe) was right next to our table dining with his friends and I tell you, he was surrounded with civilian guards. We didn’t mind him that much, he is not a housemate at Pinoy Big Brother anyway but sometimes we make fun of him telling ourselves what if we will seat next to him and eat with them and pretend we’re friends. Speaking of friends we are friendster, he is on my list and I am on his list, but I am not sure if he really is that person maintaining that account or maybe his (the mayor’s) avid fan.

Right after we ate at Night Café we headed to Moorish Bar and have a drink or two. Moorish bar has Live Band Performances and we had a party there and danced to the music. What made it fun was the Sexiest Tequila Body Shot contest but unfortunately we were only one of the face of the crowd but we really had fun of the sexy scenes we encounter or should I say we witnessed. (Update: Moorish Bar is now closed in business)

Oh boy!!! We didn’t recognized while having party that it’s around 3 in the morning, but before that I fall asleep for just a10-20 minutes at the couch while others are having party. But all are having party especially me… I’m looking forward to do it again next weekend in another place and another party.
